Bill & Renee Bliznick
Bill Bliznick is a self taught potter who first learned learned to throw clay at Ft. Campbell Base in Kentucky. Bill is retired from the Army and he is a retired millwright. Renee is an artist and a retired art teacher who met Bill in 1999 at a craft fair (she was drawing portraits). Six months later, they were married, and they have been laughing and working in clay ever since.
When they decided to work together in clay they knew they wanted to stay with functional pieces that have a sense of humor. We start with wheel thrown shapes that we assemble & alter to create animals. Each piece is unique and while they may be cousins, there are no identical twins. We use both stoneware & low fire clays. All of the glazes are lead free & food safe.
